Overview

Join Tyndale’s North American Sales Organization as we’re continuing to expand our service model into the Canadian marketplace! Our team is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to work closely with our Canada Sales Director to grow our customer base in Canada. The primary purpose of this position is to qualify large, cold prospects, warming them into opportunities that progress within our sales process and are introduced to our Canada Sales Director.  The BDR role will help Tyndale to achieve faster acceleration within our large account sales process.  In addition, this position has day-to-day independent responsibility to directly sell the Tyndale Small Account Solutions and to ensure smooth implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Place outbound calls and emails to qualify new and existing leads where we have limited traction and/or limited qualifying information.
  • Position requires heavy sales cold calling and prospect emailing
  • Work closely with Canada Sales Director (SDC) to effectively transfer warm/qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with National Account Executive (NAE) team to discus target prospects for cold calling and updates on previous territory cold calling.
  • Work closely with Sales Administration staff to manage small account sales leads in a prompt and effective manner.
  • Close new small accounts for Tyndale utilizing our designated sales process.
  • Utilize Demandbase and other resources to update our CRM with additional key contacts and account information.
  • Keep CRM system updated with lead generation research and prospective customers as they progress within our sales process.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of sales experience preferred.
  • 1 year of CRM experience preferred.
  • Must be comfortable with daily heavy sales prospecting
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Some/minimal travel availability as needed (roughly 10-15%)
